We are delighted to announce that Dr.David Meehan has joined the practice as a partner.

January 2008

The HSE has spoken for some time about organising local Primary Care Teams to co-ordinate and provide community based services. Athenry Primary Care Team has been established and medical staff from the Surgery meet regulary with our colleagues from the Health Centre, Public Health Nurses, and Community Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech and Language Therapists and Nutritionists to plan the development of primary care services in Athenry and the locality.

1st. April 2010

We are delighted to welcome Dr.Elaine Byrne who has joined the practice as Senior Registrar for the coming year. Elaine is originally from the US but has very much settled here in Ireland. She has a keen interest in traditional music and is reputed to be a superb harpist - keep an eye out for her at session in Galway or the West.
